As a Category and Replenishment Assistant at Bargain Chemist, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and effective management of product categories within our retail pharmacy business.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting the Replenishment Team and Category Managers
- Maintain accurate product data in the company’s internal systems, ensuring pricing, descriptions, and SKUs are up to date.
- Assist in the coordination and setup of promotions, ensuring promotional products are available in time and stocked to meet customer demand.
- Oversee the replenishment process, ensuring stock is available across all stores and distribution centres in line with demand forecasts.
- Execute replenishment orders, working with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and manage stock levels effectively.
- Identify and address stock discrepancies, such as out-of-stocks or overstocking, and collaborate with the supply chain team to resolve these issues.
- Manage store communications and queries.
- Communicate product issues, such as stock shortages or supplier delays, to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
What you bring to the role:
- Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or replenishment roles, ideally within pharmacy, FMCG, or a related sector.
- Ability to follow process
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Familiarity with ERP or replenishment systems (e.g., Netsuite).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
- Previous experience working with or supporting category management teams is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
