We are looking for a capable, hands-on Marketing Executive to join our Christchurch-based national support office. 

About the role

This is a mid-level, execution-focused marketing role suited to someone with 2-4 years' experience – ideally in a B2C, retail or FMCG environment – with opportunities to contribute to planning and channel execution while working closely with internal teams and external partners. 

Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager, you’ll support the coordination and delivery of multi-channel promotions and campaigns, supplier co-op marketing, partnerships and sponsorships, and in-store activations. You’ll help turn high-level campaign direction into clear actions, timelines, and well-executed activity across multiple channels. 

This is a doing role, ideal for someone who enjoys being in the detail, coordinating moving parts, and ensuring marketing activity lands well across marketing channels and in-store. If you enjoy being close to the detail and making marketing happen, this role is for you. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the planning and coordination of promotions and campaigns
  • Leading the day-to-day coordination and execution of supplier co-op marketing activity, and partnership and sponsorship activations
  • Translating campaign direction into clear actions, timelines, and deliverables
  • Communicating campaign requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating multi-channel campaign rollouts
  • Supporting in-store marketing execution, activations, and events, and working closely with store teams to ensure clarity and consistency of execution
  • Supporting campaign execution and basic reporting
  • Supporting tracking and reporting to evaluate campaign and activity performance 

About you

  • 2-4 years' practical experience in a marketing or campaign coordination role, preferably within a B2C, retail, FMCG, or multi-channel environment
  • Proven experience supporting the delivery of marketing or promotional campaigns, including working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exposure to multi-channel marketing activity e.g. email marketing, paid and organic social media, website content updates, etc.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented; able to balance multiple campaigns without losing track of critical details or deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear briefing and coordination with teams and partners.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset; able to progress work independently, identify blockers, and work with leadership to resolve issues
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a high-performing marketing function
  • Experience supporting in-store marketing execution, retail activations or events is highly desirable
