We’re seeking a Pharmacy Cluster Manager for Otago/Southland to lead and guide our pharmacies, working with local managers and teams to drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence across the cluster. You will have the full support of the Regional Manager, our Operations and HR teams, your fellow Cluster Manager in Canterbury, and experienced pharmacists from across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee operational efficiencies across multiple dispensaries within the cluster, managing operational rosters, ensuring excellent execution of standard operating procedures and alignment with company standards. 
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying trends, improving processes, and enhancing efficiency, service delivery, and commercial performance across all locations.
  • Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development of Pharmacy Managers and their teams, fostering a high-performing, patient-focused culture. Act as the primary escalation point for operational matters within the cluster.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, pharmacy regulations, and professional standards through regular site visits, audits, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse sales, profitability, wage budgets, and operational, performance data to inform better decision-making, to drive continuous improvement, to deliver regional cluster targets.

What you bring to the role:

  • Registered Pharmacist with a current APC
  • Proven experience in pharmacy operations, retail or multi-site management support.
  • Strong understanding of compliance, inventory, and process management.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and present insights clearly.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Otago/Southland region.
