 Bargain Chemist Porirua is looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor to support the Retail Manager in our Porirua store.

This is a permanent full-time role. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to work one permanent weekend day as well as Public Holidays where required.

Your role as a Retail Supervisor is vital for maintaining operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and achieving business goals. You will play an integral part of overseeing daily operations in a retail environment, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you will be doing:

• Addressing customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring an outstanding shopping experience.
• Assisting the Retail Manager in supervising and training staff to ensure high levels of customer service across the store.
• Monitoring and driving sales to meet targets.
• Ensuring the store is merchandised and displayed to high standards at all times.
• Working with and assisting our Inventory Administrator in inventory/database management including checking stock, data entry, ordering, and troubleshooting.
• Interacting with suppliers, reps and other people that contribute to the growth of our business. 

What you bring to the role: 

• Retail and supervisory experience.
• A passion for customer service and sales.
• Leadership skills to train and inspire staff.
• A positive attitude, the ability to think on your feet and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with stock control, related systems and POS software.
